Implicit in the earning of the ENS (Extreme Networks Specialist) certification is that the candidates have advanced knowledge of Extreme Networks switch configuration and troubleshooting.

Candidates who wish to become an ENS must pass the ENS EW0-300 exam. In preparation for this exam candidates are advised to also do the training courses EMR-300/2 Extreme Multicast Routing, ERF-300/2 Extreme Redundancy Fundamentals, ESF-300/4 Extreme Security Fundamentals, and EIGP-300/2 Extreme IGP. (Please note that the training course is a recommendation.) This training course is available from Extreme Networks Bootcamp.
