Implicit in the earning of the APP (Accredited Presales Professional) certification is that the candidates have apprentice knowledge of design, support and integrate platform, operating system, storage, network and option components to solve business needs.

You need to do the HP exam(s) required to earn APP certification. Because there are different tracks in the certification, there can be different exams for the different tracks. For example:

The exam that is required is the APP - HP Enterprise Solutions track is the HP HP2-027 Technical Essentials of HP Enterprise Products exam.

The exam that is required is the APP - HP Enterprise Solutions track is the HP HP0-505 Planning and Designing HP Enterprise Solutions exam.

The exam that is required is the APP - HP Imaging and Printing Solutions track is the HP HP2-448 Digital Workplace Technical Professional v5.4 exam.
